Where to Promote Your Presence: A lesson from the Indy 500

It is one thing to have a social media presence. It’s another thing all together to promote it. But where?

The answer zoomed past me at 220mph at the Indy 500 Carb Day. Promote your presence in your core services and products.

Granted, I was not going to notice the marketing effort at 220mph, but when the car was in the pit and garage – where the raving fans are – it is an optimal promotion opportunity.

So, lesson to learn if you want your association to rock its social presence: make it visible where your core service happens.

What would that means for your organization?
