Is your organization suffering from fan/follower fatigue?
You’ve built a fan base, but their aren’t interested in what you’ve got to say and aren’t responding or… worse yet… they’ve stopped following your organization.
Time for a content tune up. But how?
- MEASURE: Pay attention to what kind of content your fans like and/or respond to. If posts are going unnoticed – your fans probably don’t care.
- RETHINK POSTING STRATEGY: If the message is the same in across platforms, try changing it up. Give your members reason to follow you on those multiple platforms. Just think: Email, Phone and Print and are all different. So are different social media platforms.
- ASK THEM: Ask your fans what they want to hear. Ask them through the social channels. Invite them to give feedback in a survey. Just be mindful that if you ask, they might just expect you to deliver – so be prepared!
